How does it work in practice? On appointment the client's requirements are discussed and assessed. From this a brief is agreed for the garden plan. A site survey is conducted to assess the site, analyse the soil and consider all aspects that will affect the design.

An outline design plan and estimated construction budget is produced for discussion. From this a detailed plan can be created with construction drawings. A job specification for the landscape contractor to follow can also be provided.

The successful progress of a garden from design to reality depends on good management on the ground. A site inspection service is also available if required. This hands on approach provides an objective eye and reassurance for the client.

A full planning and planting service is also available. From sourcing plants at competitive prices, to planting up the entire garden. All aspects can be managed so the finished garden space is ready for you to enjoy.

"The communication between the client and the designer is the key to creating a successful garden and enabling me to translate the client's ideas into a valued space. Not only is it important to understand the needs of my client, but one must also be in tune with the garden space. Only when all these are appreciated will one succeed in creating a garden with a sense of place and belonging."
